What started out as a dream and a change of pace, turned into Bill Ingram Wrecker Service. In 1989 Bill Ingram opened the wrecker service with his wife Gloria with just one truck. Bill, someone that always strived to be the best at what he does, took to the road and drummed up business. By doing so, his wife and current owner left her full time job to answer phones and dispatch. The business grew so much that the current location wasn’t feasible anymore and had to make a move to a bigger location, which where the wrecker service is now. During this transition, Bill’s health took a turn for the worst and unfortunately passed away in 1999. After mourning her husbands passing, Gloria and her two children Lora and Frank continued running the business and kept the dream alive. Tragedy struck again in the year 2000 when Lora subdued to injuries in an automobile accident. Filled with grief, and now having to take care of her grandson Christian, Gloria and Frank Continued on. Fast forward to 2001 and Franks first encounter with a distracted motorist, caused him to be hit while loading a vehicle on the side of the local interstate. Gloria already suffering the loss of her husband and daughter shut down Bill Ingram Wrecker Service and kept one flatbed and continued to run Ingram Impound Service. Then in 2002 Frank opened Frank Ingram Wrecker Service and grew exponentially! From the year 2020 to now we are Ingram Towing & Impound Service Inc.! We currently have 12 trucks ranging from a small snatch truck for those pesky parking decks all the way up to heavy wreckers for hauling tractor trailers. All in all, we’ve earned ourselves a reputation in the area for our careful, efficient, and fast towing services.
